Once again, Arup in Australasia has pulled out all the stops in support of RedR – a leading humanitarian agency for international emergency relief.
Our offices in Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Melbourne, Perth, Singapore and Sydney held red themed breakfasts and morning teas for RedR Day on Friday, 7 February 2014. The Melbourne office received a visit from RedR CEO Kirsten Sayers who delivered a fantastic presentation about the work Red R is currently undertaking, while Adelaide rounded out their early bird breakfast with a viewing of RedR Australia's real stories. Supported by gold coin donations, Arup raised over $1650 towards the running of their various training and deployment programs.
RedR provides skilled people and training to help communities rebuild and recover in times of crisis. Arup has been a major supporter of RedR for many years, with staff participating in fundraising and training courses, as well as volunteering in the field.
