With teamwork and work-life-balance in mind, more than 100 colleagues from the Shanghai office joined the 3rd  Shanghai JP Morgan Corporate Challenge on 10 October. Together with over 7,000 other participants we achieved the third fastest men’s team and the fifth fastest women’s team.

The competition is a world-wide series of 5.6km road races open to groups of full time employees from organisations in business and public sectors and participants may only register as part of a four-person company team. Each organisation can enter an unlimited number of teams. The event benefitted the Right To Play China, which helps more than one million children around the world to take part in regular sport and play activities every week.

Donations from this event will support at least 120 teenagers with a tailored programme ‘Cheer up Youth’ in Shanghai. That’s the reason why we attended the event. We think it is a great platform for us to promote health and fitness in the workplace, to foster goodwill and camaraderie among our colleagues and it shows our commitment to the community and best environmental practices.
